Mean while at that time i was playing for Fuhua Primary School, i was invited to come for tranning in Singapore Sport School on the weekend yr 2010 with my other friends at the same school, few boys was selected for the traning, this picture beside was taken when i was only 12yrs old, while im there for traning, guess who was there? watching us playing soccer..... guesss who???...... give up?
Its was Mr David Lee, i was told by my parent, that his was among the top Singapore player during his time along with Fandi Ahmad and Nazri Nasir. As i was saying earlier on, we play every weekend for training with the boys from singapore sport school, its a gd experience though, he was there watching us playing and i still rememmber he came to me and say that 'you improve alot' he mean that i improve my skill in soccer, was too shy to answer and abit blushing 'thank you' i still feel that i have alot to learn, anyway this is a good compliment from someone who i admire alot as our soccor idol. With my mom help, I end up on the internet seaching more info about him, im just sharing here with you people 'David Lee was a Singaporean footballer who played for the Singapore national football team and Geylang United FC as a goalkeeper.[1]
He was part of the Singapore M-League side that won the 1994 Malaysia Cup and M-League title. He had also won the first ever S-league title and Singapore Cup "double", with Geylang Utd in 1996. He had since retired from professional football in 1997.
He is the goalkeeping coach of Singapore Armed Forces Football Club currently and trains budding youth goalkeepers at the Singapore Sports School.' oh yes before i forget he was also Singapore Captain in 1997.
hope one day InsyAllah i can be as good as our soccer idol - pray for us tq
ps: To all my friends and Fans who know us, do support our team i really appreciate it alot thank you.
